Hoping for an MDX hybrid comeback

With Acura going all in on the electrification hype, it's not a stretch to think they might drop a new hybrid system into the MDX lineup sooner rather than later. A 2.0L turbo 4 could be their play for better MPG but when it comes to towing, it might fumble unless they juice it up with some hybrid magic. On the flip side, a 3.0L V6 would crush it for towing thanks to that torque beast mode. But hey, until Acura spills the beans this is all just reading tea leaves based on what they've been cooking up lately.

Until they announced it we can only speculate, but i definitely think that the trend is going that way. A 2.0l turbo hybrid would boost mpg, but it can struggle with towing unless it is well tuned, while the 3.0l v6 hybrid can deliver serious torque and be much better suited for it.

Big facts. If they go 2.0T hybrid it better not be all bark and no bite. What kind of towing numbers are you hoping to see?
