The rearview mirror on my 2025 MDX Advanced came loose and the car only has 800 miles on it. I took it to the dealer thinking it would be a quick fix, but they said it’s actually a factory defect. The frustrating part? The entire windshield and some related components need to be replaced too, and the estimated cost is around $2.1k. On top of that, the parts are backordered, and they mentioned it could take up to 6 months to get everything in. According to the service rep, there are already about a dozen cases ahead of mine with the same issue. Definitely not what I expected from a brand new vehicle.
